  1. They’ll be now Bad Grandpas? lol.

  2. Murray says:

Sony sucks with all their unnecessary and money grabbing remakes, reboots and other crappy movies. That’s why their having a terrible year with garbage like Pixels, Aloha, Chappie, and The Wedding Ringer.

  3. Johnny Rocker says:

  4. Kamil says:

OMG I’m so thrilled for the Bad Boys sequels. Ditto for the Jumanji remake, although Robin will never be forgotten.

Get PureVPN and watch Bad Boys (1995) on Aus Netflix because US Netflix catalog sucks. I’ve been using PureVPN to unblock all Netflix regional catalogs to get my hands on Netflix’s entire global library!

  5. I hope the says:

Unoriginal and boring! I hope they will flop!

  6. Movie lover says:

THE DARK TOWER is slated for a January opening? That already spells NO CONFIDENCE by Sony. And don´t explain this away with “January is not a wasteland anymore”. If so why do they still release the real tentpoles in summer?

  7. Romeo says:

Can’t wait for the bad boys movies

  8. Brentus says:

I remember people on some website (can’t remember which; IMDB?) talking always about cinematic universes like Marvel’s and how Sony is trying to do that with Ghostbusters and 21 Jump St. Dumb to me, at least.

    A Whiplash universe? Paul Blart?

  9. James says:

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in Passengers + Michael Sheen and Laurence Fishburne…AMAZING.

    • John Kane says:

Looks like SONY has drastically changed the Passengers script which should focus on the love story line. Let’s see if this film is really to be made with the announced casting.

  10. colig says:

the first was good, the second was meh so no more. to be honest martin lawrence is actually kind of annoying and i think will smith is played out.

  11. Jakk says:

Why remake Jumanji and Ghostbusters? Why MAKE a Barbie movie? Why try to attempt(and 99.99% FAIL) in remaking The Magnificent Seven? Awful studio choices. And where is Spider-man??

  12. lex says:

I’m getting a sign and protesting the Ghostbusters movie. I was a kid when the first one came out and don’t want to see this abomination be put out. BOOOOO!!!!!

  13. Penny says:

Change the ending to the Dark Tower Epic; the ending in the book was very frustrating!

    • David says:

Unless it is change in the direction that The Mist film took, no, The Dark Tower does not need a more “satisfying” ending. The conclusion of the book actually offered hope for Roland, even while hitting the reset button, because the circumstances were different this time.

  14. Movie Junkie says:

I LOVE Stephen King’s books! Dear Sony: Please Please, PLEASE don’t make a cheesy adaptation of the Dark Tower series. It has great potential to be an awesome movie. Spend a little more and do it right!

    • David says:

I think it would make a better show on premium cable, a la Game of Thrones. It would take too long to pump out all the movies, and a lot would have to be cut in order to fit within an acceptable runtime. Theatrical release movies are the worst thing that can happen to these books.

  15. Jim says:

Sony really needs to get out of the movie-making business…..they are obsessed with reboots and sequels and trying to manufacture “franchises”.

    • They’re obsessed with making money. Reboots/sequels/franchises are Hollywood’s biggest cash crop. Franchise films Jurassic World, Furious 7, Avengers: Age of Ultron & Minions are 2015’s biggest grossers. M:I 5 may follow. So what do think the execs listen to? I think a studio like Universal will listen to the $4.5 billion they’ve made so far from 4 movies than big talk about low quality. WB, Fox & Sony will follow suit, trying to outdo them. Money speaks louder than empty, no-action words.

  16. universal toasts u! says:

Sony didn’t need any hackers to screw the company over. They just need themselves :):) #cantcountonanyonelikeyourself lol… O_O (But really, Resident Evil # 6 & Underworld #5?!!! Is there literally no other material anywhere in this world?!!)

  17. LOL says:

Yup, bless those Guardians of Peace lot for hacking this one out of the Sony encrypted servers.

Amy Pascal has reportedly been hired for the Robin Williams role in the Jumanji reboot.

  18. john says:

WOW. It looks like Passengers is going to be an Oscar contender like Gravity. It only makes sense with the kind of amazing talent involved. Can’t wait!

  19. Rachel says:

Thanks for the list! I’m so happy right now :)

  20. John Kane says:

It seems SONY has announced the tentative movies to be made. There is no guarantee that some of these movies are really made. Will Smith turns 50 by the time he makes Bad Boys 4. Even he is too old for bad boys 3 now.
