The City of Cockburn has extended its FREE public WiFi to include two new locations: Bibra Lake Regional Playground & Cockburn ARC. Watch out for other new locations in 2017/18.

Duck and dive roundabouts not that differentProposed elevated roundabouts on Armadale Road would be a first for WA, but in design and use, wouldnt be that different in operation to other dual-lane roundabouts elsewhere.

The City of Cockburn has moved to dispel confusion about design concepts proposed by Main Roads WA (MRWA) for two roundabouts along Armadale Road in Jandakot, as part of the Armadale Road Deviation and Freeway Interchange project.

update - new stairs for dive trail visitors

New stairs for Coogee Maritime trrail

New stairs are in the process of being installed so that divers can safety access the Coogee Maritime Trail.

The next step is to add decking and remove the steel fabrication at the base. 

It should be open for use at the end of July.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY DIFFERENTIAL RATES

In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given of the intention of the City of Cockburn to adopt the following rates in the dollar and minimum payments for each rating category in the 2017/18 financial year.

This represents a 1.75% average increase over 2016/17 for Residential Improved properties.
