What makes them so super special? (We're glad you asked).

They work with just about any case! Our mount system fits over the thickest and thinnest of cases. 
(Excluding jumbo-sized waterproof and battery cases.)

They have the highest center and edge resolution. The most line pairs per millimeter of any phone lens means images with incredible detail and contrast.

Vacuum-deposited anti-glare coating, lets in only the light you want, no lens flares.

Diamond-polished glass elements - we polish each glass element inside your Iris with rare earth compounds to maximize light transmission.

High precision robotic lathe-cut aluminum. Yup, your Iris lens is precision-milled ensuring perfect alignment for every glass component.

The glass is synthesized by the same factory as Leica, Canon, and Nikon. A lens is only as good as its glass, and we used the best glass available for Iris.

We could go on and on. But, in short: You can now do things an app can’t do, with a Wide, Macro and Fisheye lens.

So, how does the mount fit over a case?

A device specific mount, slides between the case and your phone to align the Iris properly.

Will the Iris Lens fit over *my* case?

The Iris fits over most, if not all cases. We made sure of it!
Just check your case for two things:
1. Is the lens opening on your phone case covered? Some waterproof cases have this closed, to keep water from hitting your phone.
2. Is your case less than 3mm thick? That’s pretty thick, about 7 credit cards. Most cases that don’t have a built in battery are well under 3mm.
If you answered yes to both of those, then we say yes to you too.

Does the Iris work with Android phones?

Unfortunately, nope. For every phone model we have to custom design (and rigorously test) the adapter plates that fit between your phone and the case.
This is to make sure the fit is right, and that you’re getting the best optical quality (aka distance between the Iris lens and the phone lens).
At the moment, we only have adapter plates that fit iPhones (in the various 6 & 7 models).

Does it work with caseless phones?

You betcha. Each lens comes with an iPhone 6/6s and 6/6s Plus adapter that works with a nekked phone. Works on iPhone 7/7 Plus only with a case. You daredevil!
