Notes:

Open Collector is a news and listing site - a kind of miniature Freshmeat/Slashdot combo - for open hardware designs and design programs (especially the EDA end of hardware design). The programs listed are open source, under any opensource license; the hardware designs listed are ... well, open source. Until all the licensing and legal issues are sorted out for free hardware designs, its a little hard to say exactly what is and what isn't a 'free' design. But usually the intentions are clear, and we'll get there in the end. So get your free processor, robot, or radio designs here!

The next version of the site is under development on colondot.net; this time round we have web CVS, mailing lists etc. The new version will be largely xml/xslt based, and will be used by the english-language site and a new Russian one. The code will be gpl.

This project has the following developers:

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
