Bio last updated circa 2004...

Sun's Scottish Usability Engineer in Ireland, worrying about various facets of the GNOME user experience, and spreading the Good Word of Usability and Accessibility to free software contributors everywhere.

When not doing that, I try to keep up with all Motherwell's games on the net, and pose around in my silly yellow car.

Made my first trip to Croke Park at the weekend... got some football[1] tickets as an early birthday present. Unfortunately I was forced to support County Wicklow, as my girlfriend knows one of the players. They soon made me feel at home, however, by playing in a decidedly inept, Motherwell-like fashion.

All good fun nonetheless, but since I come from the land of shinty, I think hurling will probably be more my cup of tea.

[1] That's Gaelic football, not proper football. (Or Amercian football.)

[Configure|Set|Change] your foobar [options|preferences|settings]

*Sigh*... having spent the last few weeks upgrading the kernel on my laptop and getting everything working just the way I wanted, the hard disk fairies came on Friday and sprinkled their crash dust all over the innards of my trusty Travelstar.

A quick trip to Peats at lunchtime is called for I guess...
