Neil Stevens writes about unrealistic expectations of America and urges the European decision makers to work on character development: Europe needs to grow up.

"America became the savior from across the water, riding in twice to save Europeans from themselves. Being so far away, America became an idealized image, probably different from person to person, rather than a real place."

"I wonder how long until Europe grows up", "and stops holding us to impossible standards."

Western Europe as MASH's Radar?

Three weeks into the new year, most people who made resolutions have probably abandoned them again. Times favors the food, tabacco and other undesirable habits. We ignore one resolution after the other.

We even ignore the big ones. Such as UN Resolution 1441.

What happened to our resolutions?

Some new sunrise and sunset pictures of Rotterdam.

A bit of an early Christmas gift.. support for custom tokens in Atlantik!

I'm afraid this won't make it in KDE 3.1 though.. I could backport it to the branch, but I doubt this constitutes as a serious bugfix. The feature was seriously lacking though, so if you need it.. grab kdegames from CVS HEAD or wait for an 0.6.0 release somewhere after the holidays.

New releases of libCapsiNetwork, monopd and Atlantik. I've been a good boy (and hopefully a good coder), board game enthousiasts can be pleased with me.

Also, a new poem (from 1999 found in an old notebook) called The Dream and a little rant on Mountain Dew.

More proof that the Internet allows every nut with a keyboard to publish crap.
