Anti-War Protest
The antiwar protest in Sydney on the 16th of February drew hundreds of thousands of people to march in the streets against the impending war on Iraq. I went along to voice my protest to such a war, and took some photos of the crowds and banners. It was hot and humid, and there were so many people that the march was rerouted several times, but still had a huge number of people waiting to join the end of the queue hours after it had begun. It has to be the most impressive act of political interest that I've ever seen Sydney show.

Sticky the Stick Insect
I bought a Stick Insect the other day to keep my Burrowing Cockroach company. To my surprise, today I found not one but two insects in the cage, but on closer inspection it turned out to be Sticky's (somewhat smaller) shedded exoskeleton, which she then promptly ate over the course of the day. All that is left now are a few legs of the skin, and a large and happy looking Sticky.

Toowoon Bay Jan 2003
Nicholas and I went up to the Central Coast to my family's unit at Toowoon Bay. We had a lovely relaxing time.
