    Amazing. One of the promises of was that it gives developers the ammunition to make their company do the right thing. Turns out, public policy is better.

    Because of , USA Today decided to run a separate version of their website for EU users, which has all the tracking scripts and ads removed. The site seemed very fast, so I did a performance audit. How fast the internet could be without all the junk! 🙄 5.2MB → 500KB

    My airplane is full of women in Repeal jumpers home to vote. Our flights been delayed, then the plane got clipped &they’re making us switch planes. Ryanair is trying to OBSTRUCT this referendum because they don’t want to lose all those sweet sweet 8 women a day abortion flights..

    One of the things that developers can enjoy about all the GDPR data-retention work going on right now is that it's happily on the opposite side of the spectrum from building software that kills people

    Hey here’s a video of my talk. I’ll work on getting my speaker notes (back) up there as well as the resources and terms from the conference handout.
