Jabber.org is the original IM service based on XMPP and one of the key nodes on the XMPP network.

You can create an account by visiting register.jabber.org (or use one of the other fine public XMPP services).

To log in, use an IM client like Adium, Gajim, iChat, Jitsi, Pandion, Pidgin, Psi, or Swift (a full list is here).

This service is run by volunteers, with hosting by USSHC, software from Isode, and data backup at Penn State's TSM service.

If you are having trouble logging in, please check the service notices and our security plan.

If you use jabber.org, please read our service policy.
