EPWP Projects
The EPWP involves creating temporary work opportunities for the unemployed, using public sector expenditure. It builds on existing best-practice government infrastructure and social programmes either by deepening their labour absorption or extending them. Anix Consulting embarks on the EPWP through our government funded projects such as the:
• Working for the Coast (Strandfontein – Macassar)
• Beaufort West and Laingsburg Information Centres
Economic Development
Economic development is critical in South Africa at the moment with the 2010 FIFA World Cup approaching. Anix Consulting recognizes the increase in the standard of living of a nation’s population with sustained growth economic development from a simple, low-income economy to a modern, high-income economy. 5. Turn-Key Solutions
Turn Key Solutions is a type of project that is constructed by a developer and sold or turned over to a buyer in a ready-to-use condition. An example of such a project would be the five Visitor Information Centres (VICs):
• Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth)
• Polokwane
• Rustenburg
• Mangaung (Bloemfontein)
• Nelspruit

IT Systems Development & Implementation
The Visitor Information Centre Enterprise Network System (VICENSYS) is designed to facilitate access to the market by SMME’s and is owner managed – a fundamental shift in tourism information. This technology is utilized in all the Visitor Information Centres. It was developed in South Africa and Anix Consulting deployed a service provider that ensured the successful implementation of this network system.
Feasibility Studies

A Feasibility Study is the analysis and evaluation of a proposed project to determine if it is technically feasible, is feasible within the estimated cost and will be profitable. Anix has completed many of these Feasibility Studies, which include;
• Feasibility Study of upgrades for the De Mond Nature Reserve
• Douglas Resort Feasibility Study
• Ferry Boat Feasibility Study at Robben Island

There is a need to monitor poverty and Anix Consulting effects and manages poverty reduction programmes, to see that the needs of the poor are addressed with the urgency the situation demands and to take corrective actions where mistakes have previously occurred.
