The Lake District Hewitts

A hill is classified as a Hewitt if it is one of the 211 Irish, 179 English, or 137 Welsh hills over 2000 feet with 30 metres drop (Hewitt being, sort of, an acronym for Hills in England, Wales and Ireland over Two Thousand feet high).

The TACit Press publishes booklets with details of the Hewitts.

There are 114 Hewitts in the Lake District.
