Gallen-Kallela 150 years

The Gallen-Kallela Museum has the pleasure of celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of this notable Finnish artist with a wide range of events, exhibitions and new information. During the anniversary year, the museum will present both familiar and unknown aspects of the life of the artist. The Akseli Gallen-Kallela anniversary year will be celebrated with various exhibitions and events around Finland. The Gallen-Kallela Museum will coordinate and bring together the celebrations and provide information on the anniversary year. Counsellor of State Riitta Uosukainen is the patron of the anniversary year.
