About Gilan Gertz

Gilan Gertz holds an MSW (Master of Social Work) degree from Yeshiva University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Barnard College. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than twelve years of experience working as a group and individual therapist. She has worked with patients who presented with a broad range of problems, including family issues, depression, anxiety and severe mental illness. Ms. Gertz has presented workshops about coping with mental illness at workshops at NASW (National Association of Social Workers) conventions, and also co-wrote an article in the book,
“Encyclopedia of Social Work with Groups.”
