Enyinna Nwigwe, who plays Godstime, a local, delusional Igbo boy in the ghetto, spoke on his character in the upcoming movie “Suru L’ere.”
Movie lovers have seen Enyinna Nwigwe play the loving husband, the gangster, the playboy bachelor, but the actor is set to surprise fans with his role in the upcoming movie “Suru L’ere.”
In a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria, the actor spoke on his character as Godstime, a local, delusional Igbo boy in the ghetto.

“Suru’Lere” is one of those films that you guys are not expecting. You’re not ready for it, but it’s goinna blow your minds," the actor says.
"The director [Mildred Okwo] called me, she was like “I have this role for you. I want you to see it and tell me what you think” and I’m like “sure.” And she’s like “let me just prepare your mind, a lot of people think this role is not for you, but there’s something I think I’ve found in you that I think this will work.
"I picked up the script and I read it, and I was like ‘this local, delusional Igbo guy in the ghetto, who runs a chemist store, but in his head he thinks he’s a doctor, and he’s such a bully.
The character’s name is Godstime. Starting the production, I knew that I was meant to do that. It’s something that people would not expect to see me in, which makes it more exciting for me. So, look out for “Suru L'ere” it starts showing in cinemas from February 12."

The film features several of Nigeria’s new school actors including Kemi 'Lala' Akindoju, AMVCA winner Tope Tedela, and Gregory Ojefua.
It also features cameo appearances from the movie producer Rita Dominic, Linda Ejiofor, Kenneth Okolie and Bikiya Graham Douglas.
