HotPads Opens Office in San Francisco

HotPads Moves to San Francisco

Washington, D.C. (May 25, 2011) - HotPads.com, the map-based housing search engine, announced today the opening of its new office in the vibrant Mission District of San Francisco.

Founded in 2005, HotPads currently attracts five million visits a month and has a full-time team of 20 people. "We're pleased with the growth over the last year and we believe the move will help us reach new milestones even faster," said Matt Corgan, HotPads Co-Founder and CEO.

The move will enable HotPads to draw on San Francisco's respected developer community, immerse itself in the unique consumer web ecosystem, and collaborate more closely with other entrepreneurial ventures in the Bay Area.

"As excited as we are to launch our San Francisco office, we're incredibly thankful for the opportunities presented in Washington DC over the last several years. It's been an excellent place to launch and grow HotPads," said Douglas Pope, Co-Founder and COO.

HotPads is a recognized leader in the online housing search space, bringing to market unique search tools like Lasso Search, Point of Interest, and offering useful information like School Attendance Zones, Demographic Maps, and Rent-Ratio Heat Maps.

The newly renovated, 5000 sq. ft. office is located on 16th and Valencia Street. HotPads expects the relocation to be complete by mid-summer 2011.
