D Y Patil Sports Academy’s Stadium has been universally applauded by sports critics as the finest sporting facility in India and has been rated as one of the 6 best stadiums in the world by the British Architect’s Journal. The stadium is one of its kinds in the country, setting high benchmarks in Indian sports architecture by offering ideas on making a world-class stadium no other stadium could deliver at that time. The D Y Patil Stadium has been a key venue for hosting most popular events in India like Indian Premier League (IPL) a popular cricket league in India with two finals hosted at the stadium. We also hosted the Indian Super League a growing football league with their first grand finals in Dec 2014.
