Welcome to The Lucy Faithfull Foundation

The Lucy Faithfull Foundation (LFF) is the only UK-wide child protection charity dedicated solely to reducing the risk of children being sexually abused. We work with families that have been affected by sexual abuse including: adult male and female sexual abusers; young people with inappropriate sexual behaviours; victims of abuse and other family members.

Drawing on our expert knowledge about child sexual abuse we offer a broad range of services for professionals and members of the public. These include: assessments, intervention and treatment of known offenders, case specific advice and support, training and development courses and workshops, educational programmes for internet offenders and their families, circles of support and accountability and internet safety seminars for schools (teachers, parents and children).

In 2002 The Lucy Faithfull Foundation established the prevention campaign, Stop it Now! UK and Ireland which supports adults to protect children through providing information; educating parents, carers and other members of the public; training those who work with children and families and running a Freephone confidential helpline – 0808 1000 900/ help@stopitnow.org.uk. More information on Stop it Now! UK and Ireland is available from the website – www.stopitnow.org.uk.

LFF also runs a website specifically for parents and carers; www.parentsprotect.co.uk, designed to raise awareness of child sexual abuse and provide positive messages about what parents, carers and other adults can do to protect children.

We also run the anonymous and confidential Get Help website (previously known as Croga), full of information, advice and support for individuals who have been accessing indecent images of children, their family and friends, and professionals.
