"At Guardian we like to say we're an energy company. We're not producing energy; we're saving it with our glass."
- Willem denBoer, Technical Fellow, Guardian Industries Science & Technology Center
People are Guardian’s most valuable asset. To protect this asset, it is Guardian’s position that there are no assignments that are so important that we do not have time to do them safely and consistently with applicable laws and best practices. Guardian is committed to efficient use of natural resources while operating in a way that protects the safety, health and well-being of our employees, the environment and the community.

Guardian Glass
By optimizing current wastewater management practices, the team in Brazil is saving over 100 million liters of water per year. This benefits the environment and the community.
SRG Global
Employees at SRG Global’s Lliria facility, passionate about doing their part to minimize their environmental impact, launched “Ecopark,” an onsite industrial material recycling center. Ecopark serves as a collection area, sorting center and distribution point for the company’s plastic, metal and aluminum scrap and other expended industrial materials, and serves as an example for others.
In 2015, we reached an industry-first agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for Guardian’s U.S. glass plants. We were recognized publicly for taking a proactive leadership position in the industry to reduce emissions at our facilities.
