Asus T100 with Windows 8.1
At the Intel developer forum, Taiwanese company, Asus announced its latest budget tablet with windows 8.1 operating system – the Asus T100. It provides energy-efficient computing, thanks to Intel Atom Bay Trail (that lasts up to eleven hours on a single battery charge). What else do you expect from transformer-like tablet that is priced at just 400 euro!
ASUS T100 is equipped with a 10.1-inch display with IPS technology, at a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The entire system is very smooth, thanks to fast Intel Atom series Bay Trail T Z3740 running at 1.33 GHz clock speed (which is also being used in Acer W4), backed by 2-gigabyte memory in RAM, and speedy 32 GB of internal memory, where the data and applications that have been reserved.
Also on board is a LAN port, micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI output, headphone output, integrated speakers (located on the front), as well as a dedicated video camera having 1.2 megapixels for doing video calls. Tablet weighs 550 grams, while the docking station another 520 grams.
