UC Property Portfolio Management
The University is both a landlord and a tenant. The Capital Works Property Management office manages both the legal and operational requirements related to both activities.
UC leases properties on campus to external providers of goods and services, as well as properties close to the campus that provide additional teaching and learning spaces or accommodation for both undergraduate and postgraduate students and visiting Fellow academics.
The office also manages high country rural properties that have been entrusted to the University, the Mount John Observatory and a range of other field stations all over the south island.
