Teens cannot fly unaccompanied on flights to or from Italy.

Young passengers will be accepted on Stobart Air flights, on the basis that they are travelling as an adult. The parent or guardian will be required to sign a Form of Indemnity at the airport on the day of departure relinquishing Stobart Air and the relevant franchise partner from any responsibility to provide special assistance to these passengers. Stobart Air shall not permit any unaccompanied young person between the age of 12 and 15 inclusive to travel if the parent or guardian fails to complete this form. A Form of Indemnity shall be signed for both sectors of the journey if a return flight is booked

Please note:
When not travelling with an adult of at least 16 years of age, some children can be carried under the Unaccompanied Minor Scheme* on flybe operated flights.

The Flybe Unaccompanied Minor Scheme* is not available to children under 15 years of age on flights operated by Air France and subsidiaries Hop Regional/City Jet. These must be booked directly with the operating airline.* On flights operated by Air France and subsiduaries, children under 15 travelling on Flybe tickets must be accompanied by an adult.
The Flybe Unaccompanied Minor Scheme* is not available on flights operated to and through Knock - Ireland West (NOC).

Assistance dogs

You may travel with your assistance dog on our domestic routes. We can also accept assistance dogs on international routes from the following airports:

  • Birmingham
  • Exeter
  • Manchester
  • Newcastle
  • Southampton

Please contact the Customer Call Centre if you wish to travel on an international flight with a recognised assistance dog.

Carriage of domestic pets (dogs, cats and ferrets) - Flybe operated

With the exception of assistance dogs, all domestic pets (as categorised above) may travel in the hold of the aircraft.

Loganair operated flights

Pets are not accepted for travel in the cabin with the exception of assistance dogs. Both cats and dogs can be carried in the hold on Loganair operated aircraft as long the animal is over 12 weeks old and are carried in suitably sized containers.

Loganair will not accept rodents (i.e., guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rats, etc.) rabbits, chickens, reptiles (i.e., snakes, turtles, etc.) or fish as carry-on or checked in baggage. These items may be carried as cargo in suitable containers, please contact our Cargo agents for advice at the airport of departure.
