Paul Reid concentrates his practice in products liability litigation, toxic tort defense, commercial litigation and general trial practice. He is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by both the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Paul has been repeatedly named to Florida Super Lawyers, South Florida Legal Guide's "Top Lawyers" list and Florida Trend's Florida Legal Elite. He has been recognized with Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating (AV Preeminent), is a sustaining member of the Product Liability Advisory Council, and is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
Paul has extensive litigation and trial experience before courts throughout Florida and in other states as far away as Hawaii. He has successfully defended in trial several major corporations, including American Airlines, DuPont, Eaton Corporation, General Motors Corporation, Mobil Oil, Snapper Power Equipment and Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Company. Paul has also completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Advanced Course, the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine Course on the Biomechanics of Impact Trauma, and the Michelin Tire and Vehicle Dynamics Course.
Prior to entering law school, Paul worked on developing automobile parts as a chemist at a plastics research and development laboratory in Chicago.

Paul has taught trial advocacy on both the local and national level. Recent courses or lectures taught by Paul include:
- a courtroom presentation course in Chicago for senior managers and partners for the Arthur Andersen and Company, Litigation Consulting Services Division;
- a seminar on “Personal Injury Litigation Practice in Florida” for the National Business Institute;
- a seminar for the ABA Regional CLE Institute titled “The Last 100 Days, Bringing a Case to Trial”;
- a course on “Indoor Air Quality/Toxic Torts” for the ABA 10th Annual Real Property Symposium in Washington, D.C.;
- a products liability course and preventive instruction to lawn mower manufacturers and golf course and country club management in Honolulu, Hawaii;
- a mock trial presentation at the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association's annual meeting in Miami, Florida; and
- engineers' deposition and trial training at the ASTM annual meeting in Reno, Nevada.
