YouTube star Trish Paytas has quit Celebrity Big Brother after 11 days in the TV house.

The American contestant says that going on the reality show was the "worst experience" of her life.

Trisha tweeted that she decided to leave the show because the people she shared the house with were "fake".

She has hit out at several of her former housemates on Twitter since her exit.

"Trisha has decided to leave of her own accord and will not be returning," says a statement from Channel 5.

Trisha walked off the show on Friday night, shortly after former Apprentice candidate Karthik Nagesan was voted off by viewers.

She spoke about her experience on Twitter in the early hours of Saturday morning and posted two tearful videos on YouTube afterwards.

She has said she regrets leaving the show, telling followers: "Like everything else in my life, I **** things up for myself."

She said the support of her fans was what kept her in the house for nearly two weeks.

Close to a million people follow her videos on YouTube and she has 335,000 followers on Twitter.

Trisha criticised former Hollyoaks star Paul Danan, who she says questioned her celebrity status.

When Trisha was asked about Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, whose time in the house has raised questions over her mental health, she said the singer was "trash".

Trisha also said she would not remain friends with Ex On The Beach star Jemma Lucy, saying she was "extremely aggressive".

Following her elimination, former Celebrity Big Brother contestants Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and Perez Hilton all tweeted messages of support at Trisha.

She will fly home to the US on Tuesday, telling fans on YouTube that it was earliest available flight she could get home.
