The Drop: New PlayStation Games for 9/5/2017

Massive sequels ahead! Knack 2 and Destiny 2 launch next week on PS4.

Ryan Clements's Avatar Posted by Senior Specialist, SIEA Social Media

Whether you’re a light-wielding Guardian or a living relic, great adventures await. Destiny 2 and Knack 2 launch next week on PS4.

Following in the footsteps of the colorful original, Knack 2 finds Knack and his friends on new adventures through dangerous labyrinths and cities under siege. Featuring a full cooperative campaign alongside the solo experience, Knack 2 amps up its platforming challenge and combat depth. Most importantly: Knack is adorable.

Then, the next chapter of Bungie’s acclaimed sci-fi opera arrives September 6. With the last city on Earth lost in a haze of fire and smoke, Guardians around the world must unite to stop an overwhelming new threat and reclaim the Traveler’s light.

KNACK 2!!!! I loved Knack. So excited for this. One of the best couch coop games. like dark souls for little kids. hoping it still kicks my bum.

Also Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, which I’m really getting cause its on the Vita in a the physical form and I support that. I’m still working on the first one. Damn you Uncharted and Yakuza.

It kinda is. The game isn’t easy. Starts easy but after a few hours it starts to get tough.

On hard difficulty 2-3 hits would kill and your move combos had to be perfectly timed.

Another week, and more content I am looking forward to!

PSVR
-Don’t Knock Twice

PS4
-Knack 2

No good movies even worth promoting this week? Looking at upcoming releases, I agree. Don’t see anything interesting until Transformers: The Last Knight on 9/12.

Speaking of Movies and PlayStation Video. Can anyone, at any division of Sony give us an idea of when 4K HDR content is coming to PlayStation Video on PlayStation 4 Pro? Really hoping it is here in time for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Just saying.

Sony, I have to ask you to do something for us…
Can you please do a Omega Collection treatment to 3 or 4 Motorstorm games?
If 3: Motorstorm, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Motorstorm Arctic Edge
If 4: Motorstorm, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Motorstorm Arctic Edge, Motorstorm Apocalypse

Or you could do a brand new one with the world tour theme, so you could use some of the fan favorite cars and tracks and add brand new ones…

Does anyone know what happened with Detention? It was supposed to be released on August 31, but I haven’t been able to find it in the store. Thanks.
