How does the lock end work? Threading works fine, but it is too big for the 1/2 in tube.

How does it work

My hose goes in very easily, it comes out just as easily. I know there has to some way to 'lock' it on, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Venusinbluejeans, this adapter is designed for use with any standard hose - by use of the threaded "hose" end of the adapter - but if you are having difficulty keeping your hose attached, that's something that needs to be looked at.
