Suresh, who earlier alleged that the actor had opened fire at him and at another injured friend Satyanarayana Chowdhary, retracted from his earlier statement given to the magistrate and said: "I am still a fan of Balakrishna and I am planning to produce a film with him." The fifth Metropolitan Magistrate had yesterday ordered two weeks judicial custody to Balakrishna and later sent him to NIMS hospital for medical check up.
Meanwhile, the NIMS hospital, where Balakrishna was yesterday admitted on instruction of the Judge for medical check-up, submitted the health report of the actor to the court.
In the report, the doctors of NIMS, who examined the actor, reported to have stated that Balakrishna was still in a state of depression and shock.
The doctors in the report suggested the actor needed a check-up by a senior psychologist and he needs at least a week's rest.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna today filed a bail petition before the court which would come up for hearing on June 10.
The injured film producer Suresh was today shifted to the ward from ICU.
