Jean Montana Harlow Petersen, 65, of Whitefish, passed away after a long hard fought struggle with cancer at her home on Thursday, May 19, 2005.

Jeannie was born on Oct. 4, 1939, in Glasgow, to Arthur and Ester Harlow. She graduated from Whitefish High School and attended Montana State University in Bozeman. Jean retired from a much loved and successful career in real estate where she was repeatedly in the multi-million dollar club.

She was laid to rest on May 21 in the Woodland Cemetery in Columbia Falls beside her father and mother.

Many thanks to her friends for their love and prayers, her care givers, as well as Bob and Bee DePratu and David Whitehead who were with Jeannie during her final moments.

Contributions may be made to Shepard's Hand Clinic of Whitefish.
