Chris Henry has played for the Ireland Wolfhounds team

Uncapped players Chris Henry, Dan Tuohy and Fergus McFadden have been named in a 33-man squad for Ireland's summer tour to New Zealand and Australia. Paul O'Connell, who has been struggling with a groin injury, is also included but Stephen Ferris, Luke Fitzgerald and Denis Leamy are missing through injury. The tour kicks off with a match against the Barbarians, followed by a Test against New Zealand on 12 June. Ireland then play New Zealand Maori on 18 June and Australia on 26 June. Munster captain O'Connell has not played since his country's final RBS Six Nations match on 20 March and has been receiving intravenous antibiotics in a Cork hospital, but has been deemed fit enough to take his place in Declan Kidney's squad. "There are four weeks until we play New Zealand and six weeks until we play Australia," said Kidney. "You don't write off a player of Paul's calibre until you have to. "With the nature of his injury there's a chance he'll return and we'll give him every opportunity to do that. "There's a contingency plan in place in case he doesn't recover." Ferris misses the tour after suffering a broken cheekbone in training prior to his province's final Magners League game against Connacht. Fitzgerald and Leamy are ruled out with knee injuries. Irish coach Kidney will be hoping for an improvement from Ireland's last performance, a 23-20 defeat by Scotland in their final Six Nations match at Croke Park.
