Robert Gottsegen

Robert Gottsegen was an American periodontist pioneer in the field of periodontics.

Education[edit]

Gottsegen graduated from dental school in 1943 and from the postgraduate department of periodontics in 1948.

Career[edit]

Gottsegen was hired by Melvin Moss to serve as director of the Department of Periodontology, having previously been employed at the University of Pennsylvania.[1]
