BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 P.M.) – With ‘Ayn Al-Fijah and Bassima under the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) control, the jihadist rebels have been forced to give-up the fight against the government forces after more than two weeks of intense fighting west of the capital.

According to local sources, 5 maintenance vehicles arrived to the Al-Fijah Springs today to help restore the water to the estimated 5 million people living in Damascus.

In addition to the maintenance vehicles, a number of buses arrived in Wadi Barada to transport the remaining jihadist rebels from this area in west Damascus to the Idlib Governorate in northern Syria.

While many jihadist rebels are expected to exit the Wadi Barada area today, a handful of militants have refused to acknowledge the deal that was accepted by the government and opposition.

These militants have promised to keep fighting against the Syrian Arab Army in Wadi Barada, despite the fact they are completely surrounded, outnumbered, and low on provisions.

“a number of buses arrived in Wadi Barada to transport the remaining jihadist rebels from this area in west Damascus to the Idlib Governorate in northern Syria”

Idlib is more and more jihadist concentrate, and the Syrian government/army is playing a part in that.
