Textile industry is one of the oldest in the world. It is also one of the first industries to get mechanized by the great Industrial Revolution that occurred in Britain in the late 18th and 19th centuries. In Sri Lanka, Star Textile Processing Industries has been carrying on this great tradition since 1986.
We operate two production facilities. A Fabric Manufacturing unit in the Ekala Industrial Zone and a Dyeing, Processing and Finishing unit, a few kilometers away, in Negombo.

Manufacturing woven and knitted fabrics
We manufacture a wide range of Polyester, Cotton, Polyester/Cotton Blends and Nylon both woven and knitted customized fabrics to suit your individual needs.
Dyeing
Whether you need fabric, fabric pieces or garments dyed we are there for you. Our garment dyeing services are offered without a whole lot of restrictive quantity requirements
Garment and Fabric Washing.
Depending on the fashion trend and Customer demand we provide different types of washes. Normal wash, Pigment wash, Enzyme wash, Stone wash, Bleach wash, Acid wash and Super white wash. You are assured of not only fashionable but also comfortable fabrics and garments.
Printing
Our high precision printing at high speeds, enable you to keep your deadlines. Our Flat screen printing is available up to 6 colors. The Rotary Screen printing, gives you up to 16 colors in a pattern.
Finishing
Often fibers in textile are deficient or improved properties are desired. Textile finishing provides a method whereby deficiencies in the textile can be corrected or specific properties are introduced. At Star Textile Processing we do this by four methods namely Bio, Hard, Silicon and Softening.
