Biography

After winning the 1965 US Novice Championships and the 1967 US Juniors, Julie Lynn Holmes was second at the US Championships for four years running, 1969-72. She represented the US at the 1970 and 1971 World Championships, finishing third and second respectively. After her amateur competitive career she toured with the Ice Capades and later worked part-time as a skating coach. She was very strong in compulsory figures.
