Blue Ash Participation in UC Serves Program

on

Faculty and staff from UC Blue Ash College played a big part in UC Serves, a new initiative led by the University of Cincinnati to give back to not-for-profit organizations across the region.

On May 2, 2014, dozens of UC employees and professors helped with projects that included painting, landscaping, cleaning, and stocking shelves. The organizations that benefitted were the American Cancer Discovery Shop, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Free Store Food Room, Friends of the Public Library, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, and Volunteers of America.

Dr. Cady Short-Thompson, Dean of UC Blue Ash, was among the 100-plus volunteers from the college to take part in the activities. She helped with painting projects at the Volunteers of America offices in North College Hill.
