Study Abroad Programs At UC Blue Ash College
While learning in the classroom is an essential part of higher education, life experiences such as meeting new people in different parts of the world can transform and shape a person for the rest of their life.
Students who study abroad often claim they return a completely different person with a newfound respect for diversity and a fresh perspective. Having the opportunity to step (or leap!) out of one’s comfort zone, perhaps for the first time, is priceless.
All Around The World
UC Blue Ash has hosted more than 30 study abroad trips since the program was founded at the school in 1997. Students and teachers have learned and explored in locations such as Germany, England, Austria, France, Costa Rica, Canada, and Peru.
2018 Study Abroad Programs Are Accepting Students
The 2018 Study Abroad Programs will be accepting applications for those interested in participating in the three programs for next year. Students should plan ahead and make sure they take the time to figure out all the planning for their courses, time away form work or family, and determining financial resources.

2018 Study Abroad Programs
French Study Abroad 2018
Be immersed in French language and culture with this program which travels to the French Canadian province of Québec. You will spend about two weeks in the European-like capital city of Québec City and study in a private college a short distance from the walled old city. You will then travel to the cosmopolitan city of Montréal to take language and culture classes at the University of Cincinnati’s partner institution Université de Québec à Montréal. Before leaving the USA, you’ll study some language, culture, film and literature in order to whet your appetite!

Great Britain and Spain 2018
This English-language program will travel to Great Britain and Spain to study cultural connections, the rise of fascism, and the international impact of the Spanish Civil War. From your home base of Harlaxton Manor, one of the best study abroad locations in the world, you’ll study culture and literature before departing for exciting destinations like London, Barcelona, and Bilbao to bring your learning to life.

Costa Rica 2018
Immerse yourself in Spanish language and Costa Rican culture in Heredia, Costa Rica, the “City of Flowers.” Practice your Spanish with your Costa Rican host family, study at a Costa Rican language school, and travel to explore the natural beauty and biodiversity in the surrounding cities and national parks.
