The seat of the Osborne family, held by R.B. Osborne MP in fee in the mid 19th century when the buildings were valued at £56+. Inherited by 12th Duke of St Albans, grandson of R.B. Osborne. Occupied by the Duchess of St Albans in 1906 and still in this family's possession in the early 1940s. The Irish Tourist Association survey states that the Osbornes bought the property from Clonmel Corporation in 1774. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage dates this house 1829. It continues to be in use as a residence. |

Greenane

The Manserghs were residing at Greenane from the mid 18th century. Wilson, writing in 1786, refers to the house as the seat of Nicholas S Mansergh. In 1814 John Mansergh was the occupant and in 1837 it was the home of his son, Richard Southcote Mansergh. In the mid 19th century the house was valued at £35 and held from Lady Osborne. In 1894 Slater refers to it as the seat of Lt. Col. M. Tynte. The house is still occupied by a member of the Mansergh family, Philippa Mansergh, and her husband, John Wallace. |

Tikincor Castle

Tickincor Castle, a fortified house, is described as "in ruins" on the first edition Ordnance Survey map in 1840. Buildings at the site were valued at £7 18s at the time of Griffith's Valuation in the 1850s when they were owned by Ralph B. Osborne and leased to Thomas Prendergast. In 1777 Smith notes that Tickencore was the property of Sir William Osborne. |

Poulboy Mill House

Winifred Daniel was leasing this property from the Osborne estate at the time of Griffith's Valuation, when it was valued at £13 10s. The adjacent mill, valued at £42, was being leased by her to Patrick Corcoran at the same time. By the 1880s the mill is no longer visible. |

Beechwood Park

Beechwood, near Nenagh, was occupied by Richard C. Langford in 1814 and Lewis writes that Beechwood was the property of Colonel Toler Osborne but was occupied by D. Falkiner and had once been the residence of the Earl of Norbury. Wilson, writing in 1786, refers to "Beech Wood, the fine seat of Daniel Toler". In the mid 19th century William Osborne was resident, holding the property in fee. The buildings were valued at £33. Occupied by Lady Osborne in 1906 when the buildings were valued at £40+. The home of Philip Blake, genealogist, in the mid 20th century. This mid 18th century house still functions as a country house. |

Modreeny

Lewis records W. H. Head as the proprietor of Modreeny House in 1837. He was still resident at the time of Griffith's Valuation and held the house valued at £35 in fee. Burke's ''Landed Gentry of Ireland'' (1904) records William Henry Head's father as "of Modreeny House". In 1906 the representatives of George Whitfield were the occupiers and the house was valued at £36.10 shillings. George Whitfield of Modreeny owned 443 acres in the 1870s. In 1890 his daughter Kathleen married Sir Francis Osborne, Baronet. This house was bought by Donald Swan in 1965 and Charlie Swan, champion jockey, was born at Modreeny in 1968. |

In 1851 Thomas Egan (junior) was leasing this property from the Musgrave estate when it was valued at £11. It was still part of the Musgrave estate in 1906 when it was valued at £9 10s. Leet had noted it as the seat of Maurice Power in 1814. Smith states that it was the seat of the Usher family having formerly been in the possession of the Osborne estate, a house being built here by Sir Richard Osborne in 1619. The property is no longer extant. |

Ballylemon Lodge

In 1906 Kathleen M. Walsh was the owner of this property, then valued at over £13. It had been built in the later nineteenth century and is shown on the 25-inch Ordnance Survey map of the 1890s. Local sources state that it was also the home of John O'Keeffe, MP for Dungarvan in the 1870s. An earlier property in the Ballylemon area was described by Smith in 1774 as "anciently the seat of Sir Richard Osborne". |
