Golden Globes: 'The Crown' Wins Best TV Series, Drama
The 74th annual awards show, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday.
The Crown took home the Golden Globe for best TV series, drama, on Sunday night.
The series beat out Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, This Is Us and Westworld.
The Netflix show also won a Golden Globe for best actress in a TV series, drama, for Claire Foy's role. The exclusive streaming show, which is based on the award-winning play The Audience by showrunner Peter Morgan, chronicles the lavish life of Queen Elizabeth II and stars Foy as the Queen and Matt Smith as Prince Phillip.
