RJAA, Rabigh Wings Academy seal cooperation agreement

Amman ,May 27(Petra)- The Royal Jordanian Air Academy(RJAA) on Sunday, Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jeddah based Rabigh Wings Aviation Academy(RWAA) to develop cooperation between the two academies and share experiences in the fields of aviation and aircraft maintenance.
The MoU was signed by CEO of RWAA HRH Turki bin Muqrin Al-Saud, and Director General of RJAA Captain Mohammed Khawaldeh.
During a visit to the the RJAA, Khawaldeh briefed HRH Prince Turki and the accompanying delegation on the academic , scientific and the training level the academy has reached.
"Since it was established in 1966, the academy has graduated hundreds of pilots and flight engineers," he said adding that graduates have the opportunity to join international airlines.
Prince Turki toured the academy, where he was briefed on its facilities and its aircraft maintenance hangar.
RJAA was established in 1966, and stands as the regional leader in flight training, to become the first and largest flight academy in the region. It is certified by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory commission (CARC) which is recognized from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in accordance to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
In addition to its main campus in Amman Civil Airport/ Marka, RJAA has established another campus in the southern city of Aqaba in Jordan which has given it more flexibility in training its students all around the year.
Rabigh Wings Flight Academy is a newly constructed modern flight training school located in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah and works to provide the region with the best pilot training in the field.
