Admission & Aid

A Private Education Made Affordable

Richmond is among only 1 percent of institutions in the U.S. with both a "need-blind" admission policy and a guarantee to meet 100 percent of demonstrated need. Forty-two percent of undergraduates are eligible for need-based aid, with an average aid package of $45,780. Plus, all first-year applicants are considered for merit-based aid, including full-tuition scholarships and a variety of interest-based programs.

Apply for Undergraduate Admission

Richmond practices selective admission and uses a highly personal, holistic evaluation process. Submit the Common Application or Coalition Application, the Richmond Supplement, and other supporting documents by Nov. 1 for Early Action or Early Decision I, or by Jan. 15 for Early Decision II or Regular Decision.
