Kokkoku: Moment by Moment Anime's 2nd Promo Video Reveals January 7 Premiere

The official Twitter account for the television anime adaptation of Seita Horio's Kokkoku: Moment by Moment (Kokkoku) manga revealed the show's second promotional video on Monday. The account also revealed a new key visual, the show's premiere date, and ending theme song artist.

The anime will premiere on January 7 and will air at 12:30 a.m. on Mondays on Tokyo MX and BS11. Amazon Prime will exclusively stream the series inside and outside of Japan. The first episode will stream on Amazon 24 hours before the show premieres on television.

Boku no Lyric no Boyomi is performing the show's ending theme song.

Yoshimitsu Ohashi (Witchblade, Sacred Seven, Galaxy Angel) is directing the series at Geno Studio, and Twin Engine is credited with production. Noboru Kimura (Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!, Amagami SS+, Problem children are coming from another world, aren't they?) is handling the series composition. Yasuomi Umetsu (Mezzo, Lily C.A.T., Kite) is credited with the original character designs, and Masaki Hinata (Sankarea: Undying Love, Qualidea Code, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) is adapting those designs for animation and is also serving as chief animation director. MICHIRU is composing the music. "MIYAVI vs KenKen" is performing the theme song "Flashback."

Kodansha Comics released the first volume of Horio's manga digitally on October 10. The company describes the manga's story:

In order to save her brother and nephew who have been kidnapped by a mysterious religious group known as the Genuine Love Society, Juri and her family cast a spell using a stone hidden by her grandfather to enter the world of stopped time known as Stasis. However, when they infiltrate the kidnapper's base, they're met by other people who can also move about freely. With grotesque creatures lurking about, will they be able to escape the parallel world and return to their normal lives?!

The manga ran in Kodansha's Morning Two magazine from 2008-2014, and has eight volumes. The series was nominated for the fourth Manga Taisho awards in 2011.
