Dr Philip Lane graduated as a doctor from Melbourne University Medical School in 1978. He qualified as a Specialist in Dermatology in 1984.

Dr Lane also works at the Skin and Cancer Foundation in Carlton, running the Phototherapy Clinic for psoriasis and eczema at the Foundation, and assisting in training of new dermatologists.
