Eminem surprised Saturday Night Live audiences during his musical guest gig. Instead of performing two separate songs, he appeared only once and offered a medley of three songs, including two of his biggest hits.

Accompanied by an orchestra, the rapper kicked off the nearly nine-minute performance with “Walk on Water,” his new track released earlier this month which was recorded with Beyoncé. Skylar Grey, who wrote the song, took on her half of the duet before moving on to Dido’s iconic vocals in “Stan.”

And just when you thought the moment was over, the pair shifted once more, this time into “Love the Way You Lie,” Eminem’s famed track with Rihanna.

“Walk on Water” is Eminem’s first single off his new album, Revival. Eminem and Grey performed the song live for the first time during the MTV European Music Awards last Sunday.

This was the 15-time Grammy winner’s seventh time on SNL. His first outing was in 1999; he performed “Stan” during his second appearance one year later.
