Surprisingly, the film is delightful-mostly because of 15-year-old Hayley Mills, the blonde button nose who played the endearing delinquent in Tiger Bay.
There is a reason the original Parent Trap has stood the test of time. It's sweet without being sucky, and incredibly sophisticated for what is, ostensibly, a kids' movie.

This is the original Disney film of The Parent Trap, and it's better than the remake, I think. It's fun and has good songs, and good actors too. I recommend it over the new one.
