you can change the system OS language, it should translate everything to english. Apps written in english only will still only be in english.

menu button->settings->language and keyboard(A keyboard key)->select language(first option)->francais

It's strange, I wanted to put console language into spanish but there are only two options at least on my console, Chinese and various types of English (UK,US, etc), but no french or spanish at all.

I was thinking about the qwerty.kl file made for SNESFAN.
Because as you know, the Yinlips remapīs are different than the Xperia or JXD, thus hindering a lot of buttons unusable to play some Xperia games.

There is a new firmware apparently enables TV OUT. I haven't tested it yet.

I've tested the new  firmware and tv out works, but a little blurry screen. Apart from that, it brings android market and another languages (spanish for example). CPU Speed still at 600 mhz, so performance should be the same.

You can be root exactly like in previous firms.

You don't need to root for android market, but root is needed to uninstall the old emus the firmware have, and replace them with new versions.

Anyone install the new firmware... I have need to get rid of the crap now all though none of it works the just shortcuts lol

EDIT; I just used TTB to get rid of the old emu's and installed a ADW launcher, and its all working great,
Also GTA III working fine with the free Chainfire 3D - so well happy...  for now lol

 I wonder if the JXD company is gonna give us Android 4.0 through firmware update?  :D But could someone take some pics of how the tv-out is or maybe a video? Thanks!  :)

actually, JXD releasing an update is very encouraging. overclock can be added by hacking the kernel, I've done it but my JXD hasnt arrived yet to test it..

TV-OUT is not the greatest... I might do a video tomorrow, I was playing GTA III and it was a bit blocky lol
Still fun though  ;)

With the new firm the speed is still at 600 mhz, they just added tv out and market. I think the onlu choice we have is modify the kernek on our own, but I don't have the knowledge to do that. We must extract the boot.img, edit the init.rc and repack everything again to flash it. I Couldn't extract the boot.img, so I don't know what else to do.

Its Audio & Video... I just used a dingoo TV-OUT cable and it works fine  :)
