Were you overclocked prior to this?

I'm overclocked to 950Mhz using the previous modified kernels... is there any benefit to me using the new firmware?

From what I understand, the voltage table changes are the only things that's missing from the previous firmwares/kernels, is that correct?

Before using the 800Mhz firmware I was running the 750mhz kernel,

Looks like with this new firmware if yours was running fine at 950mhz, you might easily achieve 1Ghz.

Probably that work, and you can also do it manually by using adb.

If you had 950 mhz with the previous kernels you can get 1 ghz easily I think. At least that's the way I have mine.

use titanium backup to unistall the Go Launcher EX and ZDbox if you don't like them, Go Launcher is a home replacment for lauching apps and stuff and ZDbox is a task manager app for things like stop running apps in the background that don't need to be running ect....

So is this better then your last one does it solve the booting problem we have?

Hmmm....


Did the official 800mhz update and used the easytools but now I can't access the internal storage. When the s601 boots I get a "safely stopped" message and can't see the flash folder.

Apart from that it works a treat, PS1 games run great and N64 have hardly any stutter in the music, makes Zelda OOT much better!

If you don't want install Go launcher EX and ZDbox. You can remove them .apk in folder "Easy-tools/APK"
But, You need to have one launcher app.

And,I update Easy-Tools can select between new or old firmware in overclock mode.

Thanks for the update zepxxx, but don't work for me, maybe is because I have this firmware? http://www.mediafire.com/?gqtb4q22nrky3qa that firmware add NTSC to tv out. Anyway with the old easy tools (23-3-2012) I can flash the OC kernels with high voltage only changing the name of the kernel, now my jxd is at 1ghz :)

what do you mean by this?  if I uninstall go launcher will things not work properly?  what are launcher apps?
