To Be an Objective Reporter, or Not to Be, that is The Question
by Russell Cook September 17, 2016There’s no Pulitzer Prize or any other similar journalism award to be won from regurgitating a worn-out 20 year-old+ unsupportable accusation about crooked skeptic climate scientists, otherwise it would have already been awarded at least a decade or more ago.

What’s Up With Prices at the Pump and Why it Could Be a Good Sign
by Marita Noon May 2, 2016All of us loved paying less than $2 a gallon at the pump. AAA reports: “Americans paid cheapest quarterly gas prices in 12 years”—which resulted in savings of nearly $10 billion compared to the same period last year. However, oil (and, therefore gasoline) has been creeping upward since the February low—topping $45 a barrel, a high for the year. And that could be a good thing.

New York’s Absurd Martin Act and the Investigation into Exxon Mobil
by Timothy Benson January 11, 2016New York Attorney General (AG) Eric Schneiderman has opened an investigation into Exxon Mobil, the world’s largest energy company, and subpoenaed all company documents related to climate change research since 1977. His office says it’s an effort to find out whether executives “lied to the public about the risks of climate change or to investors about how such risks might hurt the oil business.” This follows on the heels of calls from 50 environmental groups, both major Democratic candidates for the presidency, and Democratic members of Congress for a federal probe into the firm.

by James M. Taylor October 28, 2015Bernie Sanders is trying tried to divert attention from his bumbling performance in the recent Democratic Party presidential debate by making false and incendiary accusations that Exxon lied about global warming. Sanders claimed on national television that Exxon’s alleged lies likely broke the law and Exxon should be charged by the Obama administration with racketeering.

Naomi Klein, The Heartland Institute, and Are We Blind, Too?
by Joe Bast August 31, 2015Klein’s greatest strength is recognizing that nothing less than the abolition of capitalism will achieve the drastic reductions in emissions her side is calling for … and she’s willing to say it out loud. I love that about her. The leaders of the environmental movement, who pretend this isn’t about ideology and that “stopping” climate change would be costless, hate her for revealing this.
