Synopsis:
After Steve Rogers awakens from a vague dream of the Illuminati, Tony Stark proposes that the Avengers expand their membership to deal with the increasing frequency of threats to humanity.
Ex Nihilo takes up residence on Mars and entertains an Aleph and Abyss with details of the new man he is creating to replace the men of Earth and his origin bomb, a bomb that alters billions of years of evolution in minutes. Two bombs have already hit Perth and Regina, affecting millions, with a third on the way. Where Ex Nihilo wants to transform humanity, the Aleph wishes to destroy it.
In response, the Avengers (Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man) intercept the third origin bomb and destroy it. They trace the trajectory back to Mars where, surprisingly, they discover vegetation (A result of Ex Nihilo's terramorphisis).
The Avengers confront the trio of Ex Nihilo, Abyss and the Aleph. Abyss manages to manipulate the Hulk against Thor and the rest of the Avengers are quickly defeated and restrained. After Captain America is beaten unconscious he is sent back to Earth as a message- that they have been sent to judge the Earth and can't be stopped.
Three days later Cap recovers and assembles some of the more recently recruited Avengers including Smasher (female), Hyperion, Captain Universe, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Captain Marvel, Sunspot, Cannonball, Wolverine, Shang-Chi, Manifold and Falcon.
