How to Set Up iCloud Email and Calendars on Windows 10

  • MORE

If you're moving from a Mac to a PC, you may want to retain your iCloud email and calendar accounts, rather than get a new address or set up automatic forwarding. Fortunately, Apple's internet services are compatible with the Windows 10's Mail and Calendar applications, and it's not that difficult or time consuming to set it all up.

While you'll need to download the iCloud on Windows application to access the photos and bookmarks from your iCloud account, all you need to get your mail and calendars running on Windows is your sign-in information. Once you set up your iCloud account up in Windows 10, the Live Tiles in the Start Menu will now contain up-to-the-minute information, with your upcoming appointments and the subject lines from your unread email messages.

Hey guys if you are finding this problem, don't worry, to check your icloud mails on the Mail app just go to Sent Items and all your mails will be there, I don't know why they don't appear on the icloud Inbox.

  • Atari Says:

Doesn't work for me. There must be a missing step. Setup is very limited and super easy, but it simply doesn't work. I've verified AppleID and pwd. There is nothing else to it, but no luck. Perhaps it broke with newer versions of Win10 or iCloud???

Thank you Mr. Casey. Nice article, helpful and to the point.

  • Rick Dickert Says:

Rob, it's because Windows doesn't use the same naming conventions for sent and deleted messages. If you expand your iCloud folder list you will see new folders (Sent Items and Deleted Items) where these messages will live

    Hi Henry,
Speaking on behalf of my wife Frances who has a new Lenovo 110 Ideapad running Windows 10 home.
She also has an iMac and iPhone 6 with a frances@me.com address
Have used your directions to add new iCloud account, and seems to be fine and in the right place. However, has a statement that ICloud settings are out of date and in the central screen, says 'not synced'.
any ideas ?? Your help would be much appreciated.

  • Daniel Vaughn Says:

Doesn't work at all. Says it can't find my icloud account. Have triple checked and logged in to verify settings. So I have no idea why it "Can't find" my account.

  • Shane Sorensen Says:

I did this on a Windows 10 Desktop and it worked perfectly. I am trying to do it on a new Windows 10 Laptop but for some reason it says it cannot find the account info. Any suggestions?

  • Helen Says:

Everything works until step #13 which doesn't appear. So I can't complete the sync process. Now what?

  • Andrés Says:

It works perfectly, thanks a lot!
