    Right. A better criticism might be to advise on the limited usefulness of benchmark comparisons. 1. don't measure real-world usage 2. perf is one of many metrics to consider for choosing a technology 3. we wouldn't be using Python if performance was the most important metric

    supervisor was borne of a need to restart crashing webapp processes. Its predecessor was a zope plugin restarter named "autolance", named after a particularly unlucky employee of a client named Lance who needed to restart our zope processes when they crashed.
