Inside a Major Scandal
12 September 2017 | by See all my reviews

When Bryan Fogel sets out to uncover the truth about doping in sports, a chance meeting with a Russian scientist transforms his story from a personal experiment into a geopolitical thriller involving dirty urine, unexplained death and Olympic Gold -- exposing the biggest scandal in sports history.

Despite not being into sports or cycling or most Olympic events, this was still appealing to me because I love scandal. And I love crime with an international angle. (Whether these are "crimes" or not depends, I suppose, but this is obviously cheating on a large scale.) It is quite interesting to see the twists and turns that go into this story. While it originally is a man who tries to dope himself, which might not have been widely fascinating, he just so happened to be working with a doctor who got caught up in some incredible after-effects. Right place at the right time to be filming!
