The ACI is our weekly combined chart which is broadcast on Sundays as the prime barometer of what tunes are resonating around here week by week.
The voting list is constructed of the following:
-The Australian Top 100 for the week prior
-The UK Top 50 for the week prior
-The US Top 50 for the week prior
-The NZ Top 40 for the week prior, as well as the 10 Heatseeker Titles
-A varying amount from the ACW of the week before, based on how many contributors there were
Additionally, any song in the most recent ACI top 30 will be included automatically, as well as any climbers/entries in the #31-50 section.
The general guidelines are unchanged:
-You are to vote your top 20 each week, no more, no less. I like to have votes in sooner rather than later as it's a lot less stress on my end and gives me more time to prepare it.
-Some people have opted out of manual voting so I instead take their vote straight from their chart. They won't get the full 'strength' of a top 20 vote, and I often will adjust their full voting set week-by-week in order to get a fairer balace
-Blacklist rules are still in place, once a song hits 15 weeks in the top 25, you cannot vote it higher than #11 in your vote, and this is also applied to any automated votes as well.
-If you so wish, alongside your votes, you can nominate a track to appear in next week's voting list, and I do especially encourage this if there's a track that's getting plenty of buzz here but isn't going to turn up on any of the included charts.
I will be posting 2016's end of year results very soon, and 2017 will come not long after that!
